“This is an awesome product with great appeal to boys who enjoy fantasy and kingdom type books. I really enjoy the Christian allegory of it. It is hard to find books with sword fighting, kings and knights that doesn't involve the use of "magic" and "black magic". This is a book that inspired and encourages young men (and women) to strive to fulfill their call and to serve God. It gives you something to think about and ponder after you close the book. I think that it gives inspiration to serve wholeheartedly in what you are doing! My 10 year old LOVED this book! We read it as a family read-aloud and he kept asking for more!! It added a different Christian dimension to our school that opened up discussion and comparison of characters. It didn't make our homeschooling "easier", but it did make for many pleasant evenings snuggling on the couch reading together!”

“My son loved this book. He was real quick to tell me how not following the Kings orders was like not listening to God. He liked the cover of the book the best, due to the sword. We have read out loud chapter books before, but this one kept his attention even though I had to explain some things as we went. Some of the wording was big for a 5 year old. But that is ok. That is how he grows his vocabulary.”

“My 12 yr old son read the book and said it is very uplifting. He wants the rest of the series. I also enjoyed this book. There are hard to find "good" books for my son, and he had a hard time putting it down. We have read many books in this style and this one is right there with our favorite, The Lord of the Rings.”

“I love how the story line reinforces Bible history. The quality of the writing is excellent; by the end of the prologue I already had a clear image in my mind. [My son] loved this book! Normally he is very picky about what he will read. He sat down and read it in one day and since then has read it 5 more times! His favorite thing about the book is Tess. My son is a very picky reader. He was more then willing to read and re-read the book over and over again. I was pleased to see him take an interest in Tess's character as well as the other characters. It caused him to open up and really talk about the book, something which had always come hard for him. Being able to have a quality discussion and to be able to introduce Biblical concepts through media has made understanding Biblical principles far simpler. We have only used a few products like this and this product does not compare...in a good way. Most books for teens are written quickly and without much attention to details and quality. I was pleased see excellent character development, great plot, and values you do not see in the general literary world.”

“These books have been a wonderful blessing in our home! My husband works very long ours and is home with us 3 days a week; those days are very special days with daddy. My husband loves to read these stories to the children and is now on the last book. Our children, ages 16-3 all sit attentively listening while he reads and when he threatens to stop for the night they all begin to implore him to read more. My husband has sat for hours reading as our little girls have served him tea so he didn’t lose his voice. When my husband is away at work I have overheard the children discussing the story between one another while doing their chores; everyone is enjoying these books! The Biblical principals that have been taught to the children are being reinforced throughout this series and we are so thankful for that. We appreciate your talent and are thankful to the Lord for allowing us to enjoy such a treasure as we have found in your books. The memories that are made in our home at story time will not be easily forgotten and I am confident that the Kingdom’s Dawn series will remain part of the sweet memories our children hold onto!”
